The marine park stretches over 3000km almost parallel to the Queensland coast, from near the southern coastal town of Bundaberg, up past the northern tip of Cape York.

WHAT LIVES IN THE GREAT BARRIER REEF?
The Great Barrier Reef is home to thousands of living creatures including fish, coral, sea snakes, birds, shells or molluscs, whales, dolphins and many, many more! These different animals found here in the Reef help to make it one of the richest and most complex natural systems on Earth.
